1. Data controller

2. What data we process and why

E-mail and phone contacts. If you write to us by e-mail or call us, we process the data you provide (such as name, e-mail address, phone number, country and the content of your message, including information about your home and family if you are enquiring about a puppy). We use it to answer your request and to take the steps you ask for before a possible puppy reservation or sale. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps requested by you) and Art. 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries).

Facebook. The website links to our Facebook page and may show content from it. If you only visit our site, nothing is sent to Facebook until you load or click Facebook content, and the cookie banner lets you decide on this. If you interact with our Facebook page (messages, comments, reactions), Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. processes your data under its own privacy policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy) and, for page statistics, may act as joint controller with us. We use messages and comments received there only to reply to you. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for Facebook content on this site; Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) for replying to your messages.

Puppy owners and litter pages. On the litter pages we publish the first name and surname of the current owner of puppies bred by us, together with their country, and a photo of the dog. We do this only with the owner’s consent. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Owners can withdraw their consent at any time by writing to us, and we will remove the data from the site.

Browsing data. Like every website, the servers that host this site automatically record technical data such as IP address, date and time, pages requested, browser and operating system. We use it only to deliver the site, keep it secure and detect abuse. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Google Fonts. To display the site’s typefaces, your browser loads fonts from Google (Google Fonts). This means your IP address is transmitted to Google. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (a consistent look of the site).

Providing your data is voluntary, but without it we cannot answer your enquiry. We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.

3. How long we keep data

• E-mails and enquiries that do not lead to a reservation: up to 12 months after our last contact.
• Data connected to a puppy reservation or sale: for the time needed to perform the agreement and then for the periods required by tax, accounting and pedigree-registration rules (generally up to 10 years).
• Owner data on litter pages: until the owner withdraws consent or the page is removed.
• Server logs: for the period set by the hosting provider.

4. Who receives your data

Your data is not sold. It may be accessed by our hosting and e-mail providers, acting as data processors on our instructions, and, where necessary for a puppy purchase, by the Italian kennel club ENCI or other canine registries, a veterinarian or an accountant. Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. receives data as described above. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities if the law requires it.

5. Transfers outside the EU

Some providers (for example Meta and Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. In that case the transfer relies on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on the Standard Contractual Clauses, as applicable.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw any consent you gave at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), or with the authority of your country of residence.

7. Children

This website is not directed at persons under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
